Tara is a sophomore at Essex Technical High School in the Plumbing program. She has been an intern at Stone & Compass since 2017. She has been to the center in Bulgaria twice and will be traveling there again this summer and hopes to continue for summers to come. Tara has also traveled to the United Nations twice to attend different meetings.

Chloe is a senior at Marblehead High School and an advanced II student at the Boston Ballet School. She has been a Stone & Compass intern for the last 2 years and had the opportunity to participate in two High School Service Learning trips to Bulgaria. She has also had the opportunity to visit the United Nations to meet with the Bulgarian and Dominican ambassadors. She has made two videos documenting experiences on the service learning trip which are available on the Stone & Compass website. She loves being an intern because it gives her a connection to the world and to many platforms she normally would not have access to.
