“I was study abroad student from Japan and I was really anxious traveling to another country. But Stone & Compass perfectly carried it off because there were super kind local people who took care of us and prepared our schedule. So I felt safe and enjoyed every moment in Bulgaria. Traveling to Bulgaria with Stone & Compass was the best choice I have ever made. I will never forget good foods, unbelievable historical views, and amazing people in Bulgaria. I love and respect Bulgaria because there are a lot of special things that everyone could get obsessed with. I’m sure I will go on trip to Bulgaria again!”   Hidemi Saito (Tokyo, Japan) traveled with Stone & Compass in March 2015

"I can't say enough good things about Stone & Compass! I took my first trip to Bulgaria with Stone & Compass in June 2016 and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. Rob, Julie and the team in Bulgaria welcomed me as a member of their family and opened my eyes to the undiscovered treasure that is Bulgaria. Whilst the trip provided everything that I look for and expect in a vacation, the experience was much deeper than this; the people, landscape, culture, food and history of Bulgaria are genuinely special and, combined with the ethos of education, development and sustainability that underpins Stone & Compass, I feel privileged to have been part of something truly unique. I look forward to my next trip and would unreservedly recommend Stone & Compass to any traveler." David Singleton (United Kingdom) traveled with Stone & Compass in June 2016

"I had the pleasure to go to Bulgaria with Stone & Compass , this trip was truly life changing!  Stone & Compass is a world-class company and its employees are top notch.  We traveled to Veliko Tarnovo and saw the medieval fortress Tsarevets, surrounded on three sides by the river Yantra.  At night the fortress is lighted giving you the most breath-taking views.  Walking the streets of Veliko you can see the rich medieval history.   The Stone & Compass center located 4o minutes away in Stolat is set in the foothills of the Balkan Mountains and it is beautiful. I also visited Plovdiv & Sofia among other locations.
I would recommend to everyone if you are planning to go to Europe, make sure you go to Bulgaria, and if you are going to Bulgaria use Stone & Compass for your trip.  Truly a once in a lifetime adventure."
