Skate some of the best spots, that have rarely been skated, and seldom seen in American skate videos and photos.  Join us as we visit historical sites in several cities and villages including: Sofia and Veliko Tărnovo. Meals of authentic Bulgarian cuisine and activities on our 2000 acre property complete your experience.

Day by Day

Day 1 & 2: Travel to Sofia

Arrive in Sofia, Bulgaria’s 7,000-year-old capital, and enjoy a traditional dinner.

Day 3: Tour Sofia & travel to Stone & Compass Center

Skate down the “Yellow Brick Road” as you pass through the historic section of Sofia and view sites from the time of Constantine the Great to post-communism and through to the modern day. Skate around the beautiful Capital city while viewing some amazing historic sites, and skating some amazing street features. Visit High Five, Sofia's indoor skate park.

Day 4: Veliko Tărnovo and Tsarevets Castle

Explore Veliko Tarnovo, the capital of Second Bulgarian Empire. Climb the steps of the medieval fortress of Tsarevets for panoramic views of this city and the river that winds around it.  Inside the reconstructed church atop the fortress you will see unique modern frescoes reflecting the long history of this site.  

Day 5: Skate Day Sevlievo & cultural dinner

Sevlievo's centre of town is rich in historical landmarks. The watch tower, built in 1877 -1879, the churches “St. Prophet Ilia” and “St Trinity”, the monument of Freedom are located there. A stone bridge, built by Kolio Ficheto, crosses Rositsa river. The precursor of Sevlievo, the medieval fortress Hotalich, is 4 km away west of the town. There are lots of areas to skate in this city.

Enjoy a traditional dinner and celebrate with a Bulgarian performance group sharing music, song, and dance. 

Day 6: Bedouin Beach Bar

Unwind at the Bedouin Beach Bar, where activities can include swimming in the river pools complete with waterfalls, horseback riding, hiking, and relaxing in one of the many lounge areas including floating beds and hammocks.  The restaurant offers refreshing drinks and savory delights to enjoy as you lounge inside or outdoors.

Day 7: Skate Day Gabrovo & free afternoon at The Center

Gabrovo is a popular tourist destination, providing a comfortable place to stay, shop and dine and quick access to many local destinations. The city is also home to two museums, several historical churches and monuments and historic bridges over the Yantra River, all popular destinations for tourists and sight seers. There are some very cool areas in Gabrovo to skate.

Spend some time exploring the Stone and Compass facilities and land, which includes, 2000 acres of forested land for exploration and solitude, a large fenced in recreational area (multiple outbuildings, outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining, seating areas, and plenty oh games to keep you entertained.

Day 8: Travel to Sofia & evening skate

Awaken your senses with one last morning cup of coffee or tea in the barn. Breathe the fresh air and relish the peace and serenity that is STONE & COMPASS.  Enjoy views of the countryside as you travel back to Sofia.
